We sell a lot of products that are formulated to boost active energy levels, but Bulletproof have now developed Forbose to increase the capacity of our energy reserves storage.
The body makes energy every day and stores it in re-chargeable "batteries" called ATP. The problem is that anytime maximum performance is demanded from the body or brain, it’s easy to end up with more depleted ATP batteries than your system can handle. Instead of getting recycled, they simply go to waste.
To recharge and recycle those ATP "batteries," the body needs more ATP to get the cycle going again. One of the best ways to increase the levels is by processing blood sugar (glucose) into a rare form of sugar called ribose, which is of course the main ingredient in Forbose.
The benefits of ribose are further enhanced by the addition of Coleus Forskohlii to the mix. This is an ayurvedic herb used since ancient times that stimulates the body’s natural levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate, or cAMP for short, a compound that helps power-up those run-down ATP batteries, so your body can access the extra energy reserves.
Lastly, they have added some magnesium, which is required by the ATP-synthesizing protein in mitochondria, and acts as an essential cofactor in this energy-recycling process, essentially maximising the benefits from the first two ingredients.
The unique Forbose formula puts all three of these ingredients together in proven amounts to increase energy and speed recovery.
Each bottle of Forbose contains 60 capsules, and the recommended amount is two per day for those who lead very active lives, or one a day for people who just need a little bit of an extra reserve for normal day to day life.
The effects of Forbose are cumulative as the ingredients build up in the system…it’s not a magic pill…you will not find that you have massively increased your energy reserves 6 hours after taking the first capsule. We recommended giving it a run of at least two weeks at two capsules a day to properly evaluate the results.
Unlike most sugars, ribose can actually lower blood glucose. Our recommendation is that if you are hypoglycaemic, don’t use it without discussing it with a medical professional (or better yet, don’t use it all).
